Job Title: Sr. Commodity Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic procurement leader, a change agent who directs global sourcing strategies, manages complex supplier relationships, and mitigates supply chain risks. The Sr Commodity Manager will ensure cost competitiveness, secure supply continuity, and drive value across specific raw materials
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing and implementing commodity sourcing strategies
In-depth knowledge of contract creation and review
In-depth knowledge of raw materials governed by a global index
Experience dealing with situations involving price increases and/or material shortages due to external factors
Negotiate and manage business agreements
Managing the supply base, including selection, maintenance, and performance improvement.
Ensuring cost stability, quality, and efficient delivery of materials
Saving projects
Monitoring commodity market trends and global conditions to mitigate risks
Actively participate in new product development projects and manage purchasing activities
Prepare and execute RFQs and analyze quotations and bid
Research and evaluate alternate sources of supply (market test)
Facilitate communication between business units, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to align strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced English
A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering is required.
Experience with raw materials and engineered components
Strong negotiation skills and proven success negotiating, implementing, and managing complex supply contracts
Data analysis capability
In-depth knowledge of commodity markets (indexed commodities)
Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Minimum 7-8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or purchasing in the automotive industry
Availability to travel up to 30% of the time
