Build a World-Class Wellness Retreat Destination
Kaleidoscope Retreat is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead the operations, growth, and guest experience of a luxury wellness retreat in Los Cabos. The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction, strong financial performance, and a thriving team culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the retreat, ensuring seamless service delivery across all departments.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Establish and optimize operational systems, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, collaboration, and guest-centered service.
- Lead departmental managers and coordinate cross-functional operations.
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
- Deliver exceptional luxury hospitality experiences aligned with the Kaleidoscope brand.
- Maintain the highest standards of service, quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.
- Develop innovative guest journey strategies that enhance retention and referrals.
- Handle guest relations, escalations, and special requests with professionalism and discretion.
Financial Performance
- Own the property's budget, forecasting, financial reporting, and profitability targets.
- Monitor and improve key hospitality metrics including Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall revenue performance.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency while maintaining premium guest experiences.
- Collaborate with ownership to achieve strategic and financial objectives.
Property & Project Management
- Oversee maintenance programs, property improvements, and capital investment projects.
- Manage vendor relationships, service providers, and local business partnerships.
- Ensure the property remains in excellent condition and aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure full compliance with Mexican regulations, permits, licenses, safety standards, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with legal, accounting, and administrative partners as necessary.
- Maintain risk management and operational compliance protocols.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of senior leadership experience in hospitality, luxury resorts, boutique hotels, wellness retreats, or related sectors.
- Proven success as a General Manager, Operations Director, or equivalent executive leadership role.
- Experience opening, repositioning, or scaling hospitality properties (pre-opening experience highly preferred).
- Strong expertise in budgeting, P&L management, financial analysis, and operational performance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-department teams and complex operations.
- Fluent English required; Spanish strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with hospitality management systems (PMS), CRM platforms, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Previous experience in Mexico or Latin America preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with luxury wellness brands, retreat centers, or experiential hospitality concepts.
- Background or strong interest in wellness, mindfulness, personal development, yoga, meditation, or holistic practices.
- International hospitality experience.
- Experience leading pre-opening teams and launching new hospitality concepts.

Location & Availability
- Full-time position based in Los Cabos, Mexico.
