We are seeking an experienced Java Solution Architect with strong expertise in AWS and Gen AI to lead the modernization and redesign of our existing platform. In this role, you will dive deep into the code, evaluate current architecture, and propose innovative solutions that improve scalability, performance, and integration capabilities.
Responsibilities

Lead the Java upgrade initiative to version 21 across the platform

Decouple memory management currently attached to static servers by introducing Redis for autoscaling

Design and implement a dynamic load balancer to support scalable workloads

Redesign and modernize existing reports built on Pentaho
-
Rearchitect integrations with other products such as OTP and Workday
-
Dig into the existing codebase to understand architecture and design patterns, proposing new solution designs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural alignment and best practices

Leverage Gen AI capabilities to enhance system functionality and developer productivity

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams throughout the modernization journey
Requirements
-
7+ years of hands-on experience in software development and solution architecture

Expertise in Java, including experience with modern versions and upgrade strategies (Java 21)

Proficiency in AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectural patterns

Background in Redis and autoscaling implementations

Skills in designing and implementing dynamic load balancing solutions

Knowledge of Gen AI technologies and their practical application in enterprise systems

Familiarity with Pentaho and report modernization approaches

Understanding of integration patterns with third-party products such as OTP and Workday

Capability to dig into complex codebases, analyze architecture and design patterns, and propose new solution designs

Strong hands-on technical experience combined with architectural vision

Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
