POSITION SUMMARY
- The Electrical Design Engineer will develop electrical design HDLC units such as Inrow CDU and Inrack CDU as well as 2 phase products. He/she will closely follow objectives of quality, environment and costs working in cooperation with manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, procurement, suppliers, mechanical engineering, and product marketing.
The Electrical Engineer will contribute to the release of new products; will work in a cross-functional development group; manage a variety of tasks and activities in a dynamic environment; and solve complex problems where no precedence exists.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design new and low voltage electrical enclosures (>240 volts AC).
- Harness Design, schematic creation and 3D modeling of wiring and cabling inside equipment.
- Experience with CREO Cabling module is preferred.
- Selection of appropriate electrical components that meet agency requirements (UL, NEC, CSA, CE)
Collaborates with other groups, including Mech Engineers, firmware & software developers, system test, customer support, and manufacturing.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 8 years of experience in hardware development roles.
- More than ten years of expertise with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or product documentation management systems.
- Fluent in English.
- Demonstrated proficiency in drafting functional requirements and preparing design documentation.
- Skilled in using Creo Schematics or equivalent schematic capture software.
- Hands-on experience operating DMMs, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic instruments.
- Capable of executing project schedules throughout hardware board development lifecycles.
- Adept at debugging, validation, and supporting manufacturing test processes.
- Proven ability in designing for testability and manufacturability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal collaboration skills.
