Overview:
This role is part of the Celanese Digital Commerce Solutions IT team and serves as a key contributor to our Salesforce ecosystem. In this hybrid capacity, the Salesforce Administrator/Developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and the Salesforce IT team to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that support commercial operations. The ideal candidate combines strong administrative expertise with hands-on development skills, including Apex and Lightning, to design, customize, and implement Salesforce applications. This position requires a versatile professional who can manage day-to-day platform administration while driving enhancements that align with business needs and ensure system stability and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Daily administration and support of Salesforce users including data quality maintenance, troubleshooting support and implementation of enhanced functionalities.

Collaborate with stakeholders and other Salesforce team members to identify and implement improvements for the system.

Participate in the entire development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and deployment.

Coordinate and perform system upgrades and product releases to ensure long-term platform sustainability.

Create and maintain integrations with other applications and systems using web services and (REST/SOAP) APIs.

Ensure compliance with security and development standards of Salesforce.

Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and other technologies.

Create technical documentation for the company, like user guides, release notes and design documents.

Work collaboratively with technical teams to collect and document requirements for Salesforce solutions.

Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications.

Participate in code reviews to ensure that the best practices for the existing and new Salesforce solutions are implemented.

Stay updated with new Salesforce features & functionalities and recommend best practices to enhance the existing Salesforce implementations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required

2-3 years of Salesforce experience with at least one Salesforce certification, or 3-5 years of Salesforce experience without Salesforce certification.

Hands on working knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Salesforce development tools, and Salesforce Flow automation

Good understanding of Salesforce data & security model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields.

Experience with integrating various tools and systems with Salesforce(REST/SOAP APIs) & Implementing/configuring managed packages

Good written and verbal communication skills to connect with global teams and translate system requirements into business language and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
