Position Overview
Precisioner is expanding its North American automotive tooling business and is seeking a senior-level Sales Managers with 10+ years of experience in automotive die casting, tooling, or aluminum casting supply chain.
Our primary customers are automotive aluminum die casting manufacturers serving OEM and Tier 1 vehicle programs. This role requires strong commercial capability combined with solid technical understanding of high-pressure die casting (HPDC) tooling and automotive launch processes.
This is not a routine headcount addition. We are strategically strengthening our North America commercial structure by hiring two senior professionals in parallel to:
- Expand coverage across major die casting groups and regional casting clusters
- Reduce dependency on single-account ownership
- Improve execution quality across multiple concurrent tooling programs
- Strengthen technical-commercial coordination between North America and Asia
Both positions directly serve North American die casting customers and work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams in China and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities1. Die Casting Account Development
- Identify and develop automotive aluminum die casting companies (Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers)
- Build relationships with casting plant managers, tooling engineers, program managers, and sourcing leaders
- Position Precisioner as a strategic tooling partner for complex and high-tonnage die casting mold programs
- Drive new tooling program awards
2. RFQ & Commercial Management
- Lead technical-commercial discussions during RFQ stage
- Coordinate DFM reviews, gating concepts, mold flow analysis, and tooling feasibility with engineering teams
- Prepare competitive quotations in collaboration with China-based manufacturing teams
- Negotiate commercial terms and secure tooling awards
3. Tooling Program Lifecycle Oversight
- Oversee tooling projects from award through design, manufacturing, trial, shipment, and SOP
- Monitor timing, quality, and cost milestones
- Manage change requests and technical feedback during trial and launch phases
- Ensure alignment with customer production launch schedules
4. Cross-Border Coordination
- Serve as the primary commercial interface between North American customers and Asia manufacturing teams
- Translate customer technical and commercial requirements into actionable specifications
- Support resolution of tooling performance or delivery issues
- Maintain strong communication cadence across regions
5. Revenue & Pipeline Management
- Manage multiple concurrent tooling programs
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting
- Own revenue, margin, and collection performance for assigned accounts
- Contribute to long-term North America growth strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in automotive die casting, tooling, or aluminum casting industry
- Proven track record of independently developing and closing tooling or casting programs
- Strong understanding of high-pressure die casting (HPDC) processes
- Familiarity with mold design, cooling systems, gating, and automotive program lifecycle (RFQ → Tooling → SOP → PPAP)
- Experience working with cross-border manufacturing teams (Asia experience preferred)
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel within North America

Work Location: On the road
