We are in search of a thorough and cooperative Functional Tester to become part of our engineering team. In this role, you will serve as the safeguard of software quality, ensuring every feature that goes live is stable, high-performing, and pleasant for users. You will partner closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts throughout the complete development lifecycle, from early requirement gathering all the way to post-deployment validation. Responsibilities

Review business requirements and technical designs to develop detailed, organized test plans and test cases

Conduct comprehensive manual testing, covering functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing, for web and mobile applications

Record, prioritize, and monitor software defects in a clear and structured manner

Partner with software developers to recreate bugs, examine root causes, and confirm resolutions

Engage in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives to promote quality-driven design and confirm that acceptance criteria are testable

Assist business stakeholders throughout User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Carry out smoke testing on production environments during release cycles
Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience

Proven background as a QA Engineer or Software Tester within an Agile development environment

Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including black-box, white-box, regression, and boundary testing

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think from an end-user perspective to identify hidden issues

Clear and effective communication skills, especially when drafting bug reports and detailed reproduction steps

Experience working with bug tracking and test management tools, such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or Confluence

Strong written and spoken English proficiency at a B2 level or higher
