The Manufacturing Controller is a key position within the company’s finance organization. Reporting directly to the Division Controller, this role will be responsible for providing support across all accounting and financial operations of the organization.
The incumbent will perform detailed analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities in both direct manufacturing costs (labor and materials) and operating expenses (Manufacturing Overhead). In addition, the role will ensure compliance with policies and procedures, oversee the accurate recording of transactions in financial systems, and provide financial support for business initiatives. As a priority, the position will supervise, through analytical procedures, the functions and performance of inventory control teams, implementing monitoring programs for cycle counts at the Reynosa and McAllen facilities.
Furthermore, the role will prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for management by handling large volumes of financial and operational data, effectively synthesizing complex information to support decision-making. The position will also assist in the financial evaluation of capital investment projects.
Desired Profile: Strong analytical skills are required, along with expert knowledge of accounting and finance and prior experience in a similar role. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the company’s financial operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting and office software tools (ERP systems, Excel, databases, Power BI, etc.).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions.
Experience in financial analysis and cost control.
Experience in the preparation and maintenance of databases and data visualization.
Experience working with large volumes of data.
Experience in the implementation and/or compliance of internal control programs.
Experience in planning and executing cycle count programs and physical inventory processes.
Advanced English proficiency, knowledge of computer software packages, and experience with MRP/ERP systems.
