We are looking for a highly skilled Senior MES Developer with extensive experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), .NET technologies, and industrial system integrations to join a long-term enterprise project.
This role will focus on designing, modernizing, and integrating manufacturing solutions while acting as a bridge between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manufacturing environments, enterprise integrations, and software development using Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and modernize MES applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- Migrate and enhance legacy VB.NET and ASP applications into modern .NET frameworks.
- Build integration layers connecting MES platforms with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), SCADA systems, PLCs, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Develop solutions that interact with machine controls, OPC servers, and shop-floor equipment for real-time manufacturing data collection.
- Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL Server and Oracle database solutions, including stored procedures, triggers, and reporting services.
- Provide technical leadership, perform code reviews, and mentor development teams on best practices and software engineering standards.
- Create technical documentation, specifications, and architecture designs for MES initiatives.
- Support production-critical systems, ensuring high availability and minimizing manufacturing downtime.
Technical Skills Required
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and VB.NET.
- Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within discrete or continuous manufacturing environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Oracle databases.
- Experience integrating MES platforms with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
- Knowledge of OPC DA/UA, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and MSMQ.
- Experience with Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of OT/IT convergence and industrial automation environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Advanced English (required).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Location & Schedule
Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco (Remote)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
