- Manage product development projects in the R&D and Engineering Department.
- Be responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of a project, over cross functional groups, directed toward strategic business and other organizational objectives. The role also has a heavy operational element in carrying out component selections, thermodynamic designs, conceptual layouts etc.
- Focus on the development of In-Rack and In-Row deployment of Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) in both single phase and two phase (liquid) cooling.
Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:
(This will describe the overall core responsibilities of the role, decision making responsibilities etc.)
- Lead the teams assigned to specific projects for In-Rack and In-Row deployment of Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) in both single phase and two phase (liquid) cooling.
- Develop reporting and tracking programs to assure the project is on target for schedule and cost.
- Identify key issues and drive decisions to ensure no deliverable or project schedule slip. Identify key risks and have a contingency plan.
- Communicate with other managers, upper management, or outside vendors and other plants, as required.
