MEP Coordinator
Location: Colonia del Valle, Mexico City (Hybrid 2 days onsite per week)
We are looking for an experienced MEP Coordinator to join our growing team and contribute to the development of high-rise building projects.
As an MEP Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary engineering designs, ensuring seamless integration between MEP systems, structural engineering, and BIM design teams throughout the executive project phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate MEP engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Low Voltage/Data Systems.
- Work closely with Structural Engineers and BIM Designers to ensure design alignment and constructability.
- Lead engineering clash detection and interdisciplinary coordination processes.
- Review project documentation, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and follow up on action items with project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and quality requirements.
- Support the development and delivery of coordinated executive construction documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
- Proven experience coordinating MEP systems in vertical construction projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Data, and Building Systems.
- Experience working in BIM environments and multidisciplinary coordination processes.
- Knowledge of clash detection and engineering coordination workflows.
- Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
