Alegro Industries is a global electronic components distributor with more than 30 years of international operations. As we continue to expand our Mexico team, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Assistant to support critical accounting and financial operations for our U.S. business.
This is not simply a data entry role.

What You'll DoAccounting Operations
- Process and maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
- Create, review, and monitor customer invoices.
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions within QuickBooks.
- Verify supporting documentation and ensure accounting accuracy.
Financial Administration
- Maintain organized and audit-ready accounting records.
- Support monthly account reconciliations and financial reporting activities.
- Assist with expense tracking and financial documentation.
- Monitor outstanding balances and support collection efforts when needed.
- Ensure all accounting records are complete, accurate, and properly filed.
QuickBooks Management
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks.
- Generate reports and analyze accounting information.
- Update customer, vendor, and transaction records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified within QuickBooks.
- Assist in maintaining the integrity of accounting data and records.
Operational Support
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial processing.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen accounting controls.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or finance administration.
- Strong hands-on experience using QuickBooks.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting U.S.-based business operations.
- Experience with international invoicing or foreign currency transactions.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, collections, and expense tracking.
- Exposure to month-end and year-end close processes.
- Experience working in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or international business environments.
