What You'll Do
WordPress Development & Website Management
- Build, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly, and scalable web experiences.
- Implement new features, enhancements, and functionality across digital properties.
- Troubleshoot technical issues while maintaining website stability, security, and performance.
UX Implementation & Front-End Development
- Translate high-fidelity Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
- Partner closely with design teams to ensure exceptional user experiences.
- Improve accessibility, usability, and mobile responsiveness across all web properties.
- Maintain consistency across websites, landing pages, and digital products.
Technical SEO & Performance Optimization
- Implement and maintain technical SEO best practices.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, indexing, schema markup, metadata, and site architecture.
- Monitor website health and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure websites are optimized for both search engines and user experience.
AI & Development Innovation
- Leverage modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and similar technologies to accelerate development workflows.
- Utilize AI-assisted coding, debugging, automation, and content optimization solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve efficiency and performance.
Content Publishing & Security
- Manage content deployment and publishing workflows across websites.
- Ensure content is properly formatted, optimized, and indexed.
- Maintain website backups, security protocols, and server-side reliability.
- Troubleshoot hosting, plugin, and infrastructure-related issues as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with designers, marketers, content creators, and leadership teams.
- Deliver organized developer handoffs and technical implementations.
- Utilize project management tools to manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Contribute to strategic discussions regarding website growth, SEO performance, and user experience.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience building, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites.
- Advanced proficiency with WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO and website performance optimization.
- Experience translating Figma designs into responsive, production-ready websites.
- Experience working with page builders and modern WordPress development tools.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Strong understanding of website security, hosting environments, and troubleshooting.
- Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity and development workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in lead-generation or performance marketing environments.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, GTM, and SEO auditing tools.
- Familiarity with WordPress theme development and custom plugin modifications.
- Experience supporting multi-site WordPress environments.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and UX best practices.
