Based in our manufacturing plant in CHI, MX, you'll work directly with our diverse network of suppliers to ensure they align with Honeywell's quality strategy. You will interact with all levels of the Honeywell Organization. As the main point of contact within the supply base, you'll travel extensively within your designated geographical area to oversee supplier operations, ensuring our quality standards are consistently met.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Electro-mechanical)
- Proficient English communication skills.
- Robust knowledge of Quality Systems.
- Experience using Core Tools (PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, etc.)
- Strong drawing interpretation tools.
- Experience using and interpreting data from measurement equipment.
- At least 3 Years of experience in similar roles or +5 years of experience in process/manufacturing engineering in manufacturing industry.

- Conduct and lead supplier self-assessment.
- Ensure compliance with Honeywell standards during new supplier introduction.
- Coordinate parts approval process (PPAP/FAIR) within assigned suppliers, including advanced quality tools including PFMEA, Control Plan, and MSA.
- Verify that all supplier goods, components and raw materials meet technical specifications.
- Create, manage, and close Supplier Corrective Actions Requests.
- Coordinate inventory containment and rework for non-conforming goods coming from suppliers.
- Manage supplier deviation requests and process change requests.
- Collaborate in cross functional team for VE/CE and NPI projects execution.
- Act as a liaison between CHI operations and the SQE team across different geographical locations.
- Lead supplier development projects, using improvement tools (process control, error proofing, etc) to compliance with Honeywell specifications or requirements
- Prepare and present metrics associated with quality trends and related improvements within the supply base
- Develop strong partnership with suppliers regarding their commitment to Honeywell projects, timing, and performance.
