We are seeking a highly specialized EHS Safety Engineer to act as the On-Site Safety Leader for a critical industrial maintenance and asset management project.
Partnering with a top-tier manufacturing client, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all maintenance procedures across the processes are executed under the strictest safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead physical floor surveys across multiple production lines to assess machinery safety conditions, operational risks, and high-voltage environments.

Design, develop, and validate the safety parameters for a Job Plan Views, strictly adhering to complex client formats.

Conduct comprehensive Job Safety Analyses for every specific technical step of mechanical and electrical maintenance processes.

Define, document, and enforce explicit Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure zero-energy states during equipment interventions.

Identify and map required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and special operational permits using rigorous standardized iconography.

Manage the formal 3-tier safety validation workflow on the shop floor, securing digital signoffs from safety representatives, maintenance supervisors, and executing technicians.

Collaborate with Maintenance and Planning Engineers to verify that all safety documentation aligns perfectly with the data architecture of the IBM Maximo system.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Environmental, Safety Engineering, or a closely related technical field.

Minimum of 3 years of proven on-site experience in process safety, assembly line operations, and high-voltage industrial environments.

Mandatory active DC-3 certifications in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Electrical Safety (NFPA 70E), Working at Heights, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA / AST).

Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (B2 Level minimum) for technical documentation, client communication, and systems management.

Strong capability to interpret industrial machinery blueprints, equipment specifications, and third-party vendor manuals.

Exceptional leadership skills to coordinate physical validations and drive a safety-first culture with multidisciplinary teams.
