Myunghwa Mexico is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Quality team as a Metrology & Mechanical Testing Technician.
This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are interested in dimensional measurement, automotive component analysis, laboratory testing, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming. You will have the opportunity to work with specialized measurement equipment and contribute to product validation and quality improvement projects within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspections of automotive components and parts.
- Develop, modify, and execute measurement programs for CMM equipment.
- Define measurement paths and inspection strategies for dimensional verification.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
- Analyze measurement results and prepare technical reports.
- Support functional and destructive testing activities for automotive components.
- Participate in product validation and quality improvement projects.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve dimensional and product-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, measurements, and testing activities.
Qualifications
Technical Degree, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Electromechanical Engineering
- Automotive Engineering
- Or related fields
No Experience needed
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Up to 1 year of experience in Quality, Metrology, Laboratory Testing, or Dimensional Inspection is preferred.
Technical Knowledge
- Engineering drawing interpretation.
- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Dimensional metrology principles.
- Use of precision measuring instruments.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Intermediate - Advance English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of PC-DMIS or similar CMM programming software.
- Academic or professional knowledge related to dimensional measurement.
- Experience or knowlwdge with quality, laboratory, or product validation projects.
- Knowledge of automotive components or engine systems.
