At Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics, we are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join a project an be responsible for validation, installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement of test processes and equipment for the processes assigned.
It is a hands-on role in manufacturing, focused on testing, not design.

Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal) to support global reporting, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Validate the safe operation and functional performance of power unit assemblies, ensuring correct behavior under defined NVH, electrical and leakage specifications and production constraints.
-
Verify power unit functionality at end-of-line (EOL) through system-level checks, confirming correct signal response, overall system readiness and NVH data acquisition through measuring and analysis of vibration data in Frequency, Orden and Time domain.
-
Work with and understand typical final assembly EOL test sequences, including:
o System initiation and readiness checks
o Measure and analyze vehicle NVH data.
o Motor efficiency
o Resolver offset calibration
-
Install, validate, and bring up test equipment in production, including setup, calibration, correlation, and ensuring stable and repeatable operation during ramp-up.
-
Define and maintain test parameters, limits, and pass/fail criteria, aligned with product safety, functionality, and manufacturing requirements.

Work with product engineering establishing NVH Engineering Specifications (ES) for tests and to determine Final (EOL) Vibration test methodology for new programs

Troubleshoot test failures in production, identifying whether the source is related to the unit, the test system, or process/environmental variation, and driving corrective actions. Power Electronics Test Engineer

Implement test sequence (software) updated to support validation, failure analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement of test processes.

Review PTO quality indicators and evaluate test enhancements to address issues, reduce warranty and improve customer satisfaction

Implement test station modifications as required for new models and corrective actions

- Interface with Supplier and Product Engineering on est related process questions and machine/product development

Develop production processes aligned to standard Bill of Process strategies through system inquiry, simultaneous engineering, build, installation, and commissioning phases.
