Resumen: This position works closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Safety teams to identify improvement opportunities and support efficient, safe, and standardized manufacturing processes. The internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and exposure to production processes, Lean Manufacturing principles, problem-solving methodologies, and operational performance indicators. Responsabilidades:

Support Manufacturing Engineers and Production teams in daily manufacturing activities.

Assist in analyzing production processes to identify opportunities for improving productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency.

Collect, organize, and analyze manufacturing data and production KPIs.
-
Support time studies, cycle-time analysis, capacity analysis, and line balancing activities.
-
Assist with the development and update of work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and visual aids.
-
Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing projects.
-
Support implementation of 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, and workplace organization initiatives.
-
Assist in identifying manufacturing bottlenecks and proposing improvement actions.
-
Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions related to manufacturing issues.
-
Participate in production floor observations and process audits.
-
Assist with layout improvements and workstation optimization.
-
Support implementation and validation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, fixtures, or tooling.

Assist Manufacturing Engineering with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities when required.

Prepare reports, presentations, charts, and manufacturing performance information.

Follow up on assigned improvement projects and action items.

Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Materials, and Safety.

Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in:
