We, at Leggett Dynamics, are searching for a Sr Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer within our Engineering team to help support our Automotive business. Position Summary:
Develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes using radio frequency welding technologies (RF Welder) and automation systems, ensuring maximum efficiency, quality, safety and production capacity. Lead the technological standardization, technical training and improvement of product designs to facilitate automation and efficient manufacturing.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
RF Welder Technology Specialization

Be the technical expert of the organization in RF Welder teams.

Gain in-depth knowledge of radio frequency welding operating principles, controls, tooling and critical process parameters.
-
Develop, validate and optimize welding parameters.
-
Lead the solution of complex problems related to quality, productivity and performance of the teams.
-
Define technical specifications for new acquisitions of RF Welder equipment.
-
Participate in the validation, installation and commissioning of new systems
Process Automatitation
-
Identify automation opportunities in manual or semi-automatic processes.
-
Lead automation integration projects to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

PLCs

Industrial and collaborative robots

Establish automation standards within the organization.

Aplicar principios de Design for Manufacturing (DFM) y Design for Automation (DFA).
Technical Staff Development:

Train and develop manufacturing and maintenance technicians.

Develop technical training programs for RF Welder equipment and automated systems.

Serve as a technical mentor for the organization.

Create technical documentation, operating standards, and troubleshooting guides

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronic, Industrial or related Engineering.

Master's Degree in Manufacturing, Automation or Industrial Engineering desirable

Minimum 8 years in Manufacturing Engineering
-
Minimum 5 years working with RF Welder equipment
-
Experience leading capital and automation proejcts.
