General description
Manage projects and plant engineering to maintain the infrastructure facilities, and production equipment for manufacturing operations according to regulations and standards, also, manage the budgets of projects and operations assigned to their responsibility (CAPEX and OPEX).
Experience and education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering related to, Mechanic, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Civil, etc. Or equivalent experience in the field (Electrical engineer Prefered)
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in maintenance management or general supervision
Bilingual 70%
Knowledge, skills and certifications
Analytical Skills: Strong visual design skills used in creating information dense, easy to visualize reports and dashboards.
Knowledge of office Suite, e.g. Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.
CAD drawing (Autocad)
Budget follow up
Knowledge in Six Sigma approach and lean tools related to maintenance
Desired experience with SAP and CMMS software
Knowledge of codes and regulations related to the field, e.g. STPS, SEDE, NFPA, IESNA, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, identify trends, and develop solutions.
Technical Skills: Computer programs to mine data sources and look for trends, willing to acquire new technologies knowledge. Experience on SAP, Good knowledge of the MS Power Platform suite is a must.
Knowledge of basic concepts of energy consumptions.
Understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and common maintenance management systems.
Time Management: Work on projects prioritizing and focusing on higher value tasks.
Qualifications: Self-driven, Organized, Teamwork oriented, Analytic & Leadership skills.
Responsibilities
Facility and land, landscaping
Fire protection systems, according to NFPA, FM, UL, NEC and STPS Standards
HVAC Systems which includes dust collectors
Maintenance and operation of forklifts
Electric Distribution systems in low and medium tension and lighting systems according to
NOM-001-SEDE, NOM-029-STPS, NOM-025-STPS >
Pneumatic generation and distribution systems
Plumbing systems: potable water, sewers, sanitary, natural gas, hydraulic, etc.
Production equipment
Maintenance of manufacturing tooling and fixtures (tool room)
Lift trucks
Maintenance Planning
Develop maintenance plans and procedures to ensure the proper maintenance of assets during their lifetime
Plant engineering
Supervise and coordinate the installation of production and building equipment
Improve the usage of utilities through energy savings initiatives
Prevent and fix failures in the main distribution systems for building services (Electric,
Pneumatic, fire, natural gas, etc.)
Knowledge on Mexican regulations related to the Building supplies.
Comply with safety rules according to the function.
Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
