Ansell is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Queretaro!
This position is part of Ansell’s Global Cybersecurity Team, reporting to the Cybersecurity Manager. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and continually optimizing a broad portfolio of security controls - covering endpoint, network, email, identity, vulnerability management, SIEM, and threat-detection technologies - in alignment with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework to protect the organization’s digital assets, detect and respond to threats, and elevate overall security posture.

What You Will Bring to Ansell?

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.

Recognized security certifications strongly preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC‐GSEC/GCIH, Azure Security Engineer).

3+ years in a dedicated cybersecurity engineering or operations role, ideally within a medium to large multi-site enterprise.

Demonstrated ownership of at least three of the following domains: endpoint protection, XDR/SIEM, vulnerability management, identity security, network or email security.

Hands-on experience executing incident response and remediation actions.

Prior exposure to regulatory frameworks (NIST CSF, JSO 27001, GDPR or similar) and audit support.

Deep technicial knowledge of:

Endpoint protection suites (Cisco Secure Endpoint, Microsoft Defender, Sophos)
-
Threat Detection & SIEM (Cisco XDR, Microsoft XDR, Exabeam)
-
Vulnerability Management (Tenable VM, Tenable Cloud Security)
-
Identify & Access (Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender for Identity)
-
Network & Email Security (Cisco Umbrella, Imperva WAF, Cisco Email Security, EOP)
-
Strong grasp of attack vectors, MITRE ATT&CK and log correlation
-
Scripting/automation abilities (PowerShell, Python or similar) to streamline security tasks.

Fluent English, able to translate complex technical risk into clear, actionable language for stakeholders at all levels.

Solid analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills; disciplined change-control mindset.
