We are looking for a dynamic, data-driven, and results-oriented Apps & Games Business Development Manager to join the App Store team in Mexico, based in Mexico City. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact between Apple and the app and game developers who publish on the App Store - helping them reach the right customers, grow their businesses, and unlock the full potential of Apple's platform.

Be responsible for driving billing and revenue growth across your portfolio of developer partners.
Identify new gaming trends, emerging app categories, and high-potential partners across Mexico and Spanish-Speaking Latin America market.
Identify and execute new business opportunities across apps and games, partnering with cross-functional teams - including Product, Monetization, Marketing, Commerce, and Legal - to influence decisions and gain support for strategic initiatives.
Oversee growth and hyper-local initiatives across top categories such as Entertainment, Games, Photo & Video, Education, and Productivity.
Act as a bridge between developers and Apple's internal teams including Worldwide Developer Relations, Engineering, Marketing, Editorial, Analytics, Commerce, and Operations.
Monitor upcoming app releases and content events to collaborate closely with App Store editorial and marketing teams.
Analyze app performance data and deliver actionable business recommendations.
Negotiate and manage new business agreements.
Maintain awareness of regional market dynamics, trends, and business opportunities across key Latin American markets.
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field desirable but candidates from all education backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in Portuguese.
Category expertise across Entertainment, Games, Photo & Video, Education, and Productivity, with a curiosity to identify new opportunities and trends across all segments.
Experience with both subscription-based apps and game monetization models (in-app purchases, ads, free-to-play), with knowledge of the competitive landscape and relevant policies.
Proven track record using data, analytics, and financial models to build persuasive, impactful reports and presentations for audiences at all levels.
Familiarity with App Store Connect or similar developer platforms.
Experience working directly with app developers or software companies in a business-facing role.
Experience analyzing large datasets using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
Familiarity with Apple platforms, products, and services from a developer or business perspective.
Experience presenting business reviews or quarterly plans to C-level executives.
Prior experience navigating cross-cultural business dynamics and global markets.
Extensive network in the Mexican and Spanish-Speaking Latin America consumer technology and/or app development industry.
Connections or prior experience working with LatAm-based accelerators, startup hubs, or tech communities.
Experience helping developers adapt pricing and monetization models for emerging markets.
Familiarity with payment methods, tax environment, and regulations across key Latin American markets.
Deep passion for apps, games, and mobile technology.
Ability to work collaboratively with international peers across time zones.
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, account management, or product management, with a strong focus on the mobile apps and/or games ecosystem.
Deep understanding of the Latin American digital market, in particular Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia.
Solid experience in the tech, mobile, or digital media industry.
Deep understanding of app monetization models including subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads, and free-to-play mechanics.
Demonstrated knowledge of acquisition, conversion, and retention optimization strategies.
Proven track record of managing and growing strategic partnerships and accounts.
Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to build actionable business strategies and tell a cohesive story internally and externally.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in English and Spanish.
Ability to travel up to 25% domestic and internationally.
