As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will lead supplier quality management to ensure product and process compliance across our supply base. In this role, you will drive supplier development, validate components and processes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to reduce escapes, minimize cost of poor quality (COPQ), and strengthen supply reliability.
Your work will directly impact supplier performance, product quality, and customer satisfaction by ensuring robust processes and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Ensuring supplier compliance with quality requirements, including specifications, internal standards, and control of CTQs.
- Leading supplier quality activities using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, A3, Six Sigma), including containment, corrective actions, and prevention.
- Supporting supplier qualification and development through APQP, engineering changes, and PPAP validation, including audits and on-site visits.
- Managing supplier performance through KPIs such as PPM, COPQ, and escapes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) to resolve supplier quality issues and support decision-making.

As a minimum you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Automation, Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field).
- 5+ years of experience in Quality, including at least 3+ years in Supplier Quality Engineering.
- Strong experience with PPAP and AIAG Core Tools (Control Plan, FMEA, PPAP; APQP/SPC/MSA preferred).
- Advanced problem-solving experience using methodologies such as Six Sigma, A3, or 8D.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems audits (ISO 9001 / IATF) and strong GD&T knowledge.
- Experience in manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, casting, and/or electronics.
- Experience managing supplier KPIs (PPM, COPQ, escapes) and conducting supplier audits.
- Advanced English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of SPC and statistical tools.
- Exposure to people leadership.
- Availability to travel up to 30% (domestic and international).
- Valid VISA.
- Certification or training in AIAG Core Tools.
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt / Black Belt).
- Experience with plastics injection molding or special manufacturing processes.
- Certified internal auditor (ISO 9001 / IATF).
