TEST ENGINEER

POSITION SUMMARY
Design, build, document, and maintain test fixtures to support new and existing product production.
Reports to EE Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and maintain a testing platform for electronic assemblies.
· Work with new product development team to design and build new test fixtures.
· Review test coverage of products to ensure all shipped products meet quality standards.
· Create test documentation and provide training to test operators.
· Provide feedback to Supervisor, Trainers and operators of failures found.
· Create pareto chart of failures found for each test.
· Work with Manufacturing and Process Engineers to continually improve production processes.
· Troubleshoot test failures and support production as needed.
SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· Experience in electronic testing including embedded systems.
· Experience with electronic hardware design.
· Experience with test software/firmware development.
· Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.
· Experience with test procedure documentation and operator training.
· Advanced English skills to maintain verbal and written communication
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field is required.
· Over 5 years of professional experience in electronic design.
· Experience with PCB layout is highly desirable.
· Experience with embedded controller/processor design, C programming, and Visual C++ is highly desirable.

SALARY & BENEFITS:
Salario mensual nominal:
$40, 000 – $44,000 MXN
