Join us as a Project Engineer and help turn technical and operational customer needs into practical, competitive, and well-executed proposals. In this role, you will work closely with customers, sales teams, engineering, and internal functions to support opportunities, quotations, and service projects. Your work will contribute to installed base growth, lifecycle service development, and a strong customer experience.
Your responsibilities
- You will translate customers’ technical and operational needs into practical service and product solutions, collaborating with sales, engineering, and internal functions.
- You will support customer visits, site inspections, and technical discussions to develop opportunities and help close sales.
- You will prepare technical and commercial quotations, including cost calculation, pricing strategy, and margin validation.
- You will process customer orders in LN and ensure accurate technical and commercial data during execution.
You will follow up on opportunities, pipeline, quotation status, deliveries, customer requirements, and opportunities for recurring services or maintenance contracts.

Expectations for you
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electromechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- You have experience in sales engineering, maintenance, technical support, or similar functions; experience in the paper industry is desirable.
- You have proven experience in cost preparation, pricing and margin work, KPI management, and working toward objectives and results.
- You use engineering software such as AutoCAD, PM2, SolidWorks, or similar tools, and have experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, LN, or similar systems.
- You have advanced English proficiency. Portuguese is desirable.
- You are available to travel up to 70% of the time.

To succeed, you will need to combine technical judgment, commercial focus, and disciplined follow-up on opportunities, quotations, and orders. Clear communication with customers and internal teams will be key, along with accurate margin and pricing validation and a practical execution mindset through project or service completion. You will also provide structured feedback from field activities to support improvements in solutions, service concepts, and lifecycle offerings.
