At Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics, we are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to drive the technical documentation and system configuration phase of a major industrial asset management project.
Partnering with a top-tier manufacturing client, you will be responsible for translating complex machinery specifications into standardized Job Plan Views and architecting the maintenance data within the IBM Maximo system for Assembly processes
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

Proven experience in reliability engineering, preventive maintenance planning, and industrial machinery operations.

Advanced proficiency in the IBM Maximo asset management system (specifically regarding Plans, PMs, and asset taxonomy).

Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (B2 Level minimum) to interpret third-party vendor manuals for automated machinery and manage system data.

Strong capability to break down complex mechanical and electrical interventions into clear, step-by-step instructions.

High attention to detail for data homologation and system configuration tasks.
Tasks assigned / Work priorities:
-
Analyze client maintenance data to identify missing information, homologate asset taxonomy, and structure initial work plans aligned with IBM Maximo standards.

Conduct physical floor surveys across production lines to capture high-resolution photographic evidence of intervention points for machinery and automated equipment.
-
Draft highly detailed Job Plan Views defining technical step-by-step execution, estimated downtimes, required tools, and exact materials / consumables.
-
Execute the mass configuration and loading of Plans into IBM Maximo, accurately linking materials, tools, and required technical specialties (Crafts).

Configure Preventive Maintenance (PM) records in Maximo, establishing execution frequencies, automated work order generation criteria, routes, and nesting rules to prevent operational duplication.

Attach fully approved, digitally signed VJP documents securely to their respective Job Plan records in the Maximo production environment.

Collaborate closely with the EHS Safety Engineer and client maintenance supervisors to ensure technical accuracy, operational viability, and 100% safety compliance of all documented tasks.
