We are Belvo, an open finance API platform with the bold vision of democratizing access to financial services in Latin America. We enable any financial innovator to access and interpret financial data, as well as initiate payments from their end-users accounts. We’re turning the messy complexities of the Latin American financial ecosystem into a modern set of tools to access and interpret data and move money in a seamless and secure way.
We’re a highly-technical, passionate, and driven team. We are more than 90 people and our team currently represents 20 nationalities. We have offices in São Paulo and Mexico City – while a large portion of us work remotely.
We are tackling a very stimulating problem: connecting fintech innovators with legacy financial infrastructure. We strive to go beyond the limits of what is possible today and to do so in an elegant and developer-first way.
Since starting our adventure in May 2019, we have raised $71m from the leading VC investors globally.

While we are global and remote-friendly, we also operate from our vibrant offices in CDMX and Sao Paulo. To accommodate the various time zones in which we are based, we ensure we’re always synced up for at least 3 hours per day.

Your opportunity:
As a People & Talent Associate at Belvo, you will play a key role in attracting and hiring top talent across multiple functions - partnering closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand hiring needs, build sourcing strategies, and manage recruitment processes end-to-end.

Talent Acquisition
Source, screen, and hire the best talent across LATAM - tech, product, business, and beyond.
Own the full recruiting cycle, from job posting and sourcing to offer.
Build proactive pipelines and continuously sharpen your research and sourcing techniques.
Map the competitive landscape and apply market intelligence to your search strategies.
Partner with hiring managers across different countries and functions.
Track and report on recruitment KPIs (time-to-hire, time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, etc.)
Leverage our ATS platform (Ashby), recruitment tools, and AI to attract and identify top talent faster.
Continuously improve our overall hiring experience, from candidate journey to hiring manager partnership
People Operations
Process payroll accurately and on time in compliance with Mexican labor law
Manage benefits administration: health insurance and employee perks
Handle day-to-day office management and coordinate team-building activities and events.
Support labour topics: contracts, compliance, employee queries, and documentation.
Use AI tools to streamline and improve people ops processes and employee experience.
This position may be for you if:
3–4 years of experience in a similar role: talent acquisition as your core, with exposure to people ops
Startup or scale-up experience.
You genuinely love recruitment and get energy from connecting great people with the right opportunities
High attention to detail: you catch things others miss and take accuracy seriously
Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership: you move things forward without being asked
Creative mindset: you think outside the traditional sourcing playbook and enjoy experimenting
Fluent in English and Spanish
Data-driven: comfortable with recruiting KPIs and using numbers to improve your process
Adaptable and calm under pressure: you thrive when juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., chatbots, copilots, or productivity assistants) to enhance daily workflows and decision-making.
Amazing if:
Experience with Ashby as ATS.
You have previous experience working in an international and distributed environment
Proven track record in recruiting across Latin America
Experience working in the fintech sector
You have leveraged AI to fundamentally change the way you work and/or build amazing projects
