Roles & Responsibilities:
For CloudOps team, eInfochips is looking for a Eng/Sr.Eng with 5+ years of Cloud infrastructure experience. Candidate should have a experience in Linux based Systems, backup and storage administration, infrastructure performance and availability and public cloud environments. Additionally, good understanding and hands-on experience of the AWS and deployment orchestration through Kubernetes.
Technical Skill
- Must have exp. working on Linux Server Administration with at least one scripting language.
- Must have hands-on exp. in AWS Cloud, and Kubernetes Orchestration.
- Good to have exp. with infra-automation using Terraform | Ansible.
- Good to have exp. of CI/CD pipeline using Harness | Jenkins.
- Good to have knowledge of Cloud Operation and Agile Release Processes, and L2/L3 Ticketing process.
- Should understand Application Performance Monitoring tools such as Instana, Graffana, PagerDuty, Pingdom and Cloud Watch.
- Should have experience with source control and management tools like Git.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Should be able to work in overlapping shifts with IST time zone for support of infrastructure, Weekly rotational shifts. Ability to work in 24x7 mode shifts is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Design, implement and maintain highly available, scalable AWS infrastructure and services within a managed service environment and continual re-evaluation.
- Manage the deployments in env. such as QA/Stage/Production and engage stack-holders as required, and adhering to SLA
Build, Deploy and Manage Kubernetes clusters thru automation like Terraform
Institute infrastructure as code, security and process automation and automation of routine maintenance tasks
Security and Vulnerability Patching.
- Create and deliver knowledge sharing presentations and documentation.
- Learning on the job and explore new technologies with little supervision.
- Participating and leading war-room/outage calls and ensure RCA process to be implemented
Cross located Team Management to create self-managed team, support skill development, provide growth path, performance evaluation, attrition management.
- Customer Management for daily calls to discuss progress / updates, weekly & monthly status reporting, lead calls with cross functional team for creating new services monitors.
- Ability to work with and influence cross functional teams of customer / eInfochips
Delivery Management to ensure well defined SLAs and adherence of the same by self / team using delivery tracking tool – JIRA / Confluence.
- Quality Management to contribute that all deliverables from eInfochips are following quality processes of eInfochips and customer.
- Documentation of processes / status reporting / SoPs for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years of experience in IT Ops
- Good to have certification towards RHEL, AWS Cloud services, Kubernetes, Scripting language is preferable.
