Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with strong Ruby on Rails backend expertise and solid frontend experience. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling web and app applications, as well as supporting Shopify integrations and custom e-commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Ruby on Rails
- Develop and maintain frontend components for web applications
- Build and consume RESTful APIs
- Integrate Shopify stores and develop custom Shopify applications
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure performance, responsiveness, and security across the stack
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
- Strong experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar
- Experience building and maintaining fullstack web applications
- Experience integrating with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Familiarity with RESTful architecture and API development
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
Nice to Have
- Experience building custom Shopify apps
- Experience with Shopify Liquid
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience optimizing performance in high-traffic e-commerce environments
