Job Description
· Provide support to process imports according to the requirements of the different departments that need the service.
· Process the weekly consolidated pedimentos of the company.
· Carry out the qualification process of finished goods to apply of preferential programs. (NAFTA, TLCUE) as well as make comparisons of the qualification.
· Acting as support of the Customs supervisor in the functions that this requires.
· Perform MRO and Raw Material importations.
· Provide support in the elaboration of exports.
· Update of the database (Prisma).
Job Responsibilities
· Process and payment of consolidated pedimentos that the company generates per week or as required according to the needs of the company.
· Qualification of finished goods and record keeping physical and electronic file of certificates of finished goods and raw material.
· Keep the qualification module ready to declare tariff preferences on import and export.
· Comply with security guidelines of C-TPAT and OEA profile.
· Updating of products, components and general information in the inventory control system (Prisma.)
· Classify the materials to import and export when required and keep the record of each classification worksheet.
· Review and coordinate the exportation of part numbers close to expire.
· Generate comparisons periodically and correct discrepancies detected.
· Attend engineering change meetings.
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge about Rules of Origin NAFTA.
- knowledge on Harmonized tariff codes.
- Knowledge on customs inventory control system.
- Knowledge on all Commercial treaty where Mexico is involved.
- Strong skills in the use of PC, Desktop, MS office, and Office machines like type writter and copy machine.
- Driver’s License and passport as well as Laser visa.
- -Wide availability of schedule.
