Team Overview
The Financial Systems team within TransUnion’s Corporate Systems organization supports and enhances global finance applications and business processes across multiple regions, including Asia Pacific (APAC), Africa, India, the United Kingdom, Latin America, and North America. The team delivers scalable, cost-effective solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen financial controls, and enable informed business decision-making. This role reports to the Senior Director, Business Analyst and plays an important role in ensuring the reliability, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of TransUnion’s financial systems.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
This role exists to support, optimize, and enhance TransUnion’s PeopleSoft Financials platform, ensuring reliable finance operations, efficient business processes, effective financial controls, and a positive user experience across global finance teams. The role contributes to operational excellence, risk reduction, and informed financial decision-making through technology-enabled solutions.
- Serve as the primary functional and technical support resource for PeopleSoft Financials, ensuring system reliability, user satisfaction, and uninterrupted finance operations.
- Support and maintain key finance processes including Record to Report, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash, enabling accurate financial transactions and reporting.
- Partner with finance stakeholders to identify business challenges, define requirements, and deliver enhancements that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to system navigation, reporting, batch processing, data management, and configuration to minimize operational disruption.
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements to ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs and support scalable growth.
- Collaborate with Finance and Information Technology teams to prioritize initiatives and deliver projects that maximize business value and process effectiveness.
- Participate in solution design, impact assessments, dependency analysis, and effort estimation to support successful project planning and execution.
- Lead system enhancements through analysis, testing, implementation, and deployment, improving process efficiency and reducing operational risk.
- Provide subject matter expertise on financial system capabilities and best practices to support effective business operations and informed decision-making.
Create and maintain documentation, procedures, training materials, and user guides while delivering end-user training that increases adoption and self-sufficiency.

Required Knowledge And Experiences
- Experience supporting enterprise financial systems in accounting, finance operations, or corporate finance environments, with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Knowledge of financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Purchasing, Billing, and Project Accounting, enabling effective issue resolution and process improvement.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements to support system enhancements and project delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business audiences and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, relevant experience, and demonstrated expertise.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Hands-on experience administering, supporting, and troubleshooting PeopleSoft Financials.
- Required experience with PeopleSoft Accounts Payable (AP) and Billing (BI) modules.
- Experience creating and supporting PeopleSoft queries, batch processes, configuration maintenance, and data management activities.
- Understanding of system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) , defect resolution, and change management practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications for analysis, reporting, and documentation.

- Knowledge of finance transformation, process automation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments.
- Familiarity with financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and end-user training programs.
