We are looking for a STIVA Assembly Supplier Quality Engineer
The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for the daily operational control of supplier quality performance, ensuring production continuity through fast containment, effective problem-solving, and close follow-up with suppliers. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, working directly with incoming inspection, production, and suppliers in a fast-paced environment to prevent disruptions and drive quick resolution of quality issues.
Key Responsibilities

Lead containment actions for supplier-related issues affecting incoming

inspection and production.

Manage NCRs, Non confirming parts disposition, and supplier 8D corrective
-
actions.

Support incoming inspection and production lines to minimize downtime.

Drive suppliers to deliver timely root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Maintain daily communication and escalation with suppliers and internal teams.

Track and report key metrics (PPM, open NCRs, 8D status) using systems like PLEX.

Support execution of APQP, PPAP, and engineering changes (ECNs).

Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

3–5+ years in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality.

Strong knowledge of 8D, PFMEA, Control Plans, and problem-solving tools.

Experience working with suppliers, production, and quality systems (e.g., PLEX).

Bilingual (English / Spanish).

Work Environment
