As a Data Entry Specialist, you will support the creation and maintenance of high-quality data products by processing, validating, and analyzing data from various sources. You will leverage data management tools and established business rules to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability while supporting the organization's operational objectives.
- Utilize various software applications to manipulate, parse, normalize, and cleanse data
- Interpret data relevance according to established business rules and processes to meet customer and user requirements
- Enter, validate, and analyze data to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy
- Perform data verification and quality assurance activities across multiple data sources
- Assist in evaluating electronic media and source files for data content and usability
- Learn and apply company policies, processes, and procedures within assigned areas of responsibility
- Support the creation and maintenance of reliable data products through consistent adherence to established guidelines and standards
- Understanding of computers, databases, spreadsheets, and data processing tools used to perform data management and quality assurance functions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to interpret source documents presented in a variety of formats
- Ability to apply established guidelines and procedures when entering and validating source data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues
- Ability to utilize company policies and procedures to research, analyze, and maintain accurate data records
- Effective organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- 1+ years of relevant experience in data processing, data entry, quality assurance, or a related field
- High school diploma preferred
- Additional education, training, or equivalent work experience considered a plus
