POSITION SUMMARY
- The Hub Site Manager is an operational role and will be responsible to support operations and initiatives in the regional AMER support hub located in Monterrey, Mexico, through the follow up and closure of projects that are aligned with the HUB strategy and all its stakeholders, making sure the facility provides a safe environment and the talent have everything to deliver successfully and within the right cost.
This position focuses on three core areas: Facilities enablement, Hub attractiveness, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. The role requires a hands-on professional who can connect with internal businesses, execute on the hub strategy, and demonstrate through results that the centralized model delivers value.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Goal 1: Facilities – Enable R&D, Engineering & NPDI Businesses
The Hub Site Manager is the operational link between the businesses housed at the hub and the facility services that support them. The focus is on understanding what teams need and delivering practical solutions.
- Connect directly with R&D, Engineering, and NPDI business leaders to understand their operational, space, and infrastructure needs.
- Translate business requirements into actionable facility projects (lab setups, workspace reconfigurations, equipment installations, IT infrastructure, etc.).
- Coordinate with Facilities, EHS, IT, and Procurement teams to execute solutions on time and within budget.
- Ensure the facility provides a safe, compliant, and productive environment for all hub occupants.
- Manage day-to-day facility operations including vendor coordination, maintenance follow-ups, and service level monitoring.
- Provide oversight of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics activities to ensure operational continuity.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Logistics teams to improve material flow, inventory accuracy, and transportation processes.
- Track and control facility-related expenditures, identifying cost optimization opportunities without compromising service quality.
Goal 2: Hub Strategy Execution – Global Mindset, Local Action
The Hub Site Manager executes the hub growth strategy by making the Monterrey location attractive, driving continuous improvement, and benchmarking with peer hubs. The focus is on implementation, not strategy creation.
- Execute initiatives that make the hub attractive for global functions to relocate positions to Monterrey (infrastructure readiness, talent availability data, success stories, onboarding support).
- Drive VOS (Vertiv Operating System) / Continuous Improvement culture on the ground through Lean, Kaizen, and operational excellence practices applied to hub operations.
- Implement and sustain improvement projects using problem-solving methodologies, tracking measurable results.
- Benchmark with other regional hubs on Talent Management practices, Early Talent initiatives, and operational best practices; bring back actionable learnings.
- Support the development of operational metrics and dashboards that demonstrate hub performance and growth.
- Coordinate Early Talent programs and initiatives locally, ensuring alignment with global frameworks.
- Participate in global meetings, projects, and business reviews across multiple time zones to stay connected with the broader hub network.
Goal 3: Connect with the business and manage stakeholder needs
The Hub Site Manager must demonstrate through execution and results that the centralized hub model delivers value. The focus is on building trust, maturing operations, and taking the hub to the next level.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for local functional leaders, site management, and global teams regarding hub initiatives and project status.
- Demonstrate the value of the centralized model through consistent delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Ensure stakeholder satisfaction through proactive communication, regular status updates, and transparent project governance.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and roadblocks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues to the Hub Leader when necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and global stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
- Support the Hub Leader in preparing business cases, presentations, and data that showcase hub maturity and readiness for expanded scope.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation throughout the hub operations.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead cross-functional project execution involving HR, Facilities, EHS, IT, Finance, Logistics, and Operations.
- Support budget management and expenditure control for site and hub-related activities.
- Provide operational insights and recommendations to the Site Leadership Team based on data and execution experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (HR, Facilities Management, Industrial Engineering, Procurement, or related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in a Shared Services / Hub / Multi-functional environment.
- Proven experience in project management and cross-functional coordination (not just planning—execution).
- Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without authority.
- Proficient English language skills (daily interaction with global teams).
- Hands-on knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, VOS, or similar).
- Budget tracking and expense management experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and adapt to a dynamic environment.
Desired:
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management and Inventory Control processes.
- Knowledge of Logistics, Supply Chain, and Material Flow principles.
- Knowledge of EHS, Facilities, and Site Services Management.
- Experience supporting business transformation or organizational change initiatives.
- Exposure to ERP systems and operational metrics management.
- General understanding of manufacturing environments and plant operations.
- Experience with Talent Management or Early Talent program coordination.
