In this position...
In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our physical manufacturing operations and our advanced data ecosystems. By designing, optimizing, and governing robust data pipelines and semantic models, you will empower our supply chain and supplier quality teams with actionable, real-time insights. Your work will directly prevent operational bottlenecks, drive digital transformation through automation and AI, and build a unified "Single Source of Truth" that shapes the future of our global manufacturing efficiency.
What you'll do...
Design and optimize centralized semantic data models (using tools like Power BI or Tableau) to establish a unified "Single Source of Truth" for critical supply chain and manufacturing metrics.
Develop and automate robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL and Python to streamline data integration from plant systems (such as manufacturing and enterprise resource planning systems) into business intelligence platforms.
Collaborate with supplier quality and technical support teams to analyze manufacturing constraints, perform data-driven root-cause analyses, and track capacity planning and product launch milestones.
Partner with business operations and strategy teams to translate complex technical engineering data into clear, high-level reporting that supports resource allocation, budget tracking, and strategic planning.
Identify and implement automation and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions (such as Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, or custom Python scripts) to optimize daily workflows, reporting efficiency, and technical documentation.
-
Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, designing scalable star/snowflake schemas to ensure data integrity, security, and long-term operational continuity.
You'll have...
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering (with a data focus), or a related field—or equivalent practical experience. An advanced degree in a technology-related field is highly valued.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence roles within industrial, manufacturing, or supply chain environments. Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting AI/automation projects is preferred.
Languages: Professional working proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Technical Stack:
-
Data Analysis & BI: Advanced proficiency in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query (Power BI and/or Tableau).
-
Data Engineering: Advanced SQL (query optimization, complex JOINs, UPSERTs) and Python (Pandas, ETL automation scripting).
-
Modeling & Governance: Strong experience designing Star/Snowflake schemas and applying data governance principles.
Even better, you may have...
Modern Data Stack: Experience with tools like dbt, Snowflake, or Azure Databricks.
Industrial/Operational Systems: Familiarity with SCADA, MES, IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, Modbus), or systems like Ignition.
Software Development: Basic knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, or API development.
