Overview:
The New Process Engineer Sr. Lead the research, development, validation, implementation, and transfer of new manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment to support new product introduction, operational improvement, and industrial automation strategies. This role leads initiatives focused on safety, quality, capacity, ergonomics, efficiency, digitalization, and cost reduction, ensuring effective process industrialization and robust technical transfer to operations and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for enabling required manufacturing capacity through the development and implementation of technical solutions aligned with safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
Ensures the validation, industrialization, and transfer of new processes and equipment by coordinating cross-functional teams and external suppliers to meet business and operational goals.

Lead projects for the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment.

Define, evaluate, and validate new manufacturing equipment, including:

Capability studies

Design of Experiments

Equipment Acceptance
-
Introduce new processes and equipment while ensuring quality, safety, ergonomics, and capacity requirements.

Standard Work

Work Instructions

Spare Parts List

Preventive Maintenance Plans

Validation Reports

Process Flow Diagrams

Coordinate Advanced Product Quality Planning activities.

Work closely with NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and suppliers.

Develop process studies and validations.

Ensure complete technical transfer to maintenance and operations.

Participate in layout design and manufacturing strategy development.

Identify opportunities for automation, poka-yoke, and advanced manufacturing.

Serve as the technical liaison with corporate teams and sister plants.

Provide technical support to existing processes and continuous improvement projects.

Lead cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.

Coordinate external suppliers related to automation, robotics, vision systems, and controls.

Maintain updated technical documentation and project administration records.

Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Completed Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 5 years or more in a related field.
