As a Senior Mining Sales Representative, you will lead direct machine and solution sales for a defined international territory spanning Northern Latin America and the Caribbean. This role has a strong underground mining emphasis, and serves as the primary commercial partner to Caterpillar dealers and mining customers across the region. You will shape portfolio strategy, influence dealer capability, and package differentiated solutions that benefit the customers in your territory.

In this high-impact, highly autonomous role, you will influence dealer sales capability, identify high-value opportunities, and partner with customers to improve satisfaction and long-term value. This role blends strategic account leadership, consultative selling, and commercial execution — supporting dealers through forecasting, Go-to-Market strategy, and performance improvement.
What you will do:

Own direct sales performance for mining equipment and solutions across Northern Latin America and the Caribbean, partnering with a diverse dealer network with varying levels of underground expertise.

Lead underground mining commercial strategy for the territory, identifying portfolio gaps, growth opportunities, and competitive differentiation.

Influence dealers and customers through a strong customer‑back mindset, demonstrating urgency, accountability, and consultative leadership.

Create and package differentiated solutions that combine machines, technology, aftermarket components, parts, services, and financial offerings to meet customer business needs.

Conduct on‑site customer and mine visits, performing site assessments to identify commercial, operational, and lifecycle value opportunities.

Lead dealer sales planning and performance reviews, including forecasting, pipeline development, and corrective action plans.

Partner cross‑functionally with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Pricing, as well as product groups, subject matter experts, technology, finance, business resources, and transportation teams.

Operate independently, proactively identifying issues, bringing forward recommendations, and escalating with clarity when needed.

Leverage enterprise sales systems for opportunity tracking.

Language requirement: Spanish and English fluency is desired to effectively support and serve customers across Latin America.
Top candidates will also have:

Prior underground mining experience (equipment, applications, sales, or technical) supporting dealer or customer environments.

Experience selling direct or through dealers’ business model in international or emerging markets.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely from direct leadership with high accountability.

Experience collaborating with S&OP, finance, technology, product groups, and supply chain teams to deliver customer solutions.

Comfort traveling internationally and working across cultures, languages, and different dealers.

The location for this position is México and requires on-site work five days a week.
