As aProject Leader, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing plant inMexicali, Baja California (onsite role). In this position, you will lead efforts to identify, analyze, and eliminate sources of loss (SOLs), improve operational performance, and deliver measurable impact across production KPIs.
You will work closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams—including Production, Engineering, Finance, and Quality—to ensure operational excellence and sustainable results. This role is critical in enabling efficiency, cost optimization, and performance visibility across the production floor.
We’re looking for someone with strong analytical and leadership skills, hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, and a passion for driving continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
HERE’S WHAT YOU´LL BE DOING:
- Identify and reduce Sources of Loss (SOLs) using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement tools
- Lead cost reduction initiatives through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration
- Monitor and improve plant KPIs, including OEE, by coaching supervisors and prioritizing key initiatives
- Analyze and report production financial results, including savings, performance outlooks, and month-end close
- Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects to enhance quality and operational efficiency
- Coach supervisors and team leaders on performance metrics, loss analysis, and improvement methodologies
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
- +3 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment with direct involvement in improvement projects
- Proven experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies with measurable results
- Strong understanding of KPIs such as OEE, productivity, and cost efficiency
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading initiatives on the production floor
- Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)
