We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Louisville, Kentucky, supporting the production, optimization, and continuous improvement of electronic and PCBA manufacturing processes.

Position Overview
The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes to achieve quality, productivity, capacity, and cost objectives.
The ideal candidate is an engineer with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments and strong knowledge of process engineering, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.
Experience in electronics manufacturing and PCBA assemblies is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Process Flows, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfers into production.
- Develop, optimize, and improve manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Perform line balancing, time studies, capacity analysis, and labor optimization.
- Analyze manufacturing KPIs including productivity, scrap, labor efficiency, and overall operational effectiveness.
- Identify process risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions using 8D, A3, PDCA, DMAIC, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kanban, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of fixtures, tooling, equipment, and assembly lines.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Test, and Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
- Participate in cost reduction, productivity improvement, and process optimization projects.
- Support customer and cross-functional activities during process development and implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Continuous Improvement.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
- Experience with PFMEA, Process Flow, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, and corrective actions.
- Experience with line balancing, capacity analysis, process optimization, or labor analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced English – written and spoken.
- Willingness to relocate to Louisville, Kentucky, USA.
