YOUR ROLE
As a Product Engineer , you will design and develop connection systems that meet customer and technical requirements, ensuring performance, quality, and timely delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain close communication with customers to support validation, production readiness, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop designs of connection systems and their components.
- Ensure a good product designs, through Design Reviews, meet and / or exceed functionality, ergonomics and customer requirements (scorecard).
- Verify the performance of the product, ensuring that the validation tests specified by the client are satisfactory.
- Ensure that the deliverables to the client: prototypes, pilots, parts for PTR, etc .; they are satisfied in time and quality.
- Provide Engineering support to the areas of tools, processes, manufacturing and quality.
- Maintain responsible and professional contact with the Client.
- Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements.
Must Haves (i.e. Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in electronic, mecatronic or related
- Design 2D and 3D
- GD&T
- Problem Solving
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, Skype, Teams, Visio, etc.)
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
- Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
- Resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
