Responsibilities may include:
- Personal assistant to the physician
- Update EHR/EMR with patient's records
- Gather information for the patient's visit
- Partner with physician to deliver efficient patient care
Qualifications:
- A degree OR some units in allied medical course is preferred
- At least 6 months experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and medical terminologies
- Knowledge of US healthcare private insurance (e.g. Medicaid, Medicare)
Tech Requirements:
- Reliable high-speed internet, updated computer/laptop, webcam, and headset
- Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, and scheduling platforms
