Key Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Help create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment that promotes exploration, play, and early learning.

Assist in the personal, social, emotional, and educational development of young children through targeted support and encouragement.

Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to implement the EYFS framework and contribute to planning, observation, and assessment.

Support children with personal care needs and help establish routines that foster independence and confidence
Requirements:

Relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent). Level 3 is desirable.

Experience working with children in EYFS or nursery settings.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and patient approach.

Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting early childhood development.

Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
