Job Description:
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of CPFR processes, demand planning methodologies, and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as Alteryx, R, Python, or SAS.
- Experience with actuarial techniques such as risk modeling, probability theory, and stochastic processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
- Proven experience working with club retailers (preferred), particularly Sam’s Club or similar formats, with understanding of bulk purchasing behavior, limited assortment strategies, and promotional-driven demand.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Manage the CPFR process with multiple retail clients simultaneously (Oxxo, Chedraui, City Fresko)
- Maintain weekly review cadence on inventory, sales and forecast for each account
- Identify and escalate opportunities to improve service levels and coverage
- Analyze point-of-sale (POS) data: sales, stock on hand, in-transit inventory, DDV, DOH and stockouts
- Build periodic reports with actionable insights for internal teams and clients
- Detect stockout risk patterns with a minimum 1–2 week anticipation window
- Collaborate with buyers and replenishment teams at the client level
- Present analysis and improvement initiatives directly to the client contact
- Negotiate replenishment parameters, minimum stock levels and preventive action plans
- Internal coordination with sales, demand planning, logistics and Perfect Store teams
- Monitor key KPIs: fill rate, out-of-stock rate, forecast accuracy, inventory days (DDI/DDV/DOH)
- Build and maintain tracking tools in Excel and Power BI
