DeepOcean US has an exciting opportunity for a Tender Manager to join our team located in Houston, Texas on a full-time basis
MAIN Areas of Responsibility
To manage the preparation and ensure the accurate and timely submission of winning tenders to Clients whilst safeguarding the Company's commercial interests during the sales, tendering and contract negotiation phases of assigned potential projects.
DEMONSTRABLE EXPERIENCE SPECIFIC TO THE ROLE
Initiate contact with potential customers and link to customers (eg design houses, operators, personal contacts) at appropriate stages in the project cycle
Liaise with the internal DEEPOCEAN team to inform them of appropriate client information/requirements
Lead and manage tenders ensuring all technical and commercial et pricing and Client expectations
Ensures DEEPOCEAN are pre-qualified as necessary with potential customers
Initiate and maintain planned regional visit tracking and reporting activity
Develop local marketing plan in consultation with Commercial Manager and VP - Commercial
Attend and participate in local industry trade shows/exhibitions.
In conjunction with the Regional Management develop and refine strategy for entering new regional territories
Ensure DEEPOCEAN receive appropriate invitation to tender packages
Where appropriate review tender package and develop tender strategy in consultation with Regional Sr Management.
Lead tender review process in accordance with DeepOcean guidelines
Lead commercial hand-over process for awarded tenders to the operations group
Input to prospects and tender listing
Prepare and circulate client contact reports
Attend specialist exhibitions, conferences and briefings
Review specialist media and provide appropriate report and or recommendations
Review and utilise commercially available media including appropriate databases
Track preparation of tender and pricing status
Provide constructive feedback on tender presentation and pricing
Liaise with client contact after proposal submission
Assist in tender clarification process where appropriate
Leads or contributes significantly in tender negotiations as appropriate
Development Business Plans on an annual basis for Senior Management Review
Maintain informal client liaison after contract award, monitor progress and provide feedback/suggestions for improvement as appropriate.
Achieve annual revenue target for your area of responsibility
ITI received from potential customers
Excellent client relations
Contact documentation completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Perform role in a manner that contributes to region and group objectives

Strong technical knowledge base of industry

10+ years of relevant experience
Experience with ROV and subsea operations (preferred)
