Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach literacy education, math, and other subjects while incorporating learning technology.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests and observations.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a supportive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support for students with special education needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education is required.
- Strong skills in proofreading and writing lesson plans and reports.
- Experience in childcare or working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and special education practices is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using learning technology to enhance instruction.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
