About the Role
We are hiring for a hybrid position that combines client advocacy (reception) and healthcare billing responsibilities. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, communicative, and experienced in supporting US-based healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
Client Advocacy / Reception
- Handle patient scheduling, inquiries, and client support
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation
- Provide regular reports to clients and managers
- Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and clear communication across all tasks
Healthcare Billing
- Submit insurance claims, collect payments from clients, and document transactions
- Maintain and update medical records with accurate and timely ICD-10 and CPT coding
- Process medical collections and billing, collaborating with healthcare and insurance providers for proper documentation
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Manage all aspects of healthcare billing, including the insurance credentialing process, while ensuring HIPAA compliance
General
- Collaborate with team members for effective communication and task completion
- Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed
Essential Skills
- Excellent English communication skills – speaking and writing (high fluency/native speaker level)
- Strong customer service background with a friendly, outgoing demeanor
- Strong attention to detail, leadership qualities, and initiative
- Strong understanding of United States healthcare billing practices
- Knowledge of EHR and billing software
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in G-Suite applications
- Healthcare Billing/Coding certification, Bachelor's, or Master's degree
Experience and Education
- Experience in English customer service
- Experience in United States healthcare billing
Schedule: 9 AM–5 PM US Utah Time Location: Fully remote
