The Opportunity
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Corporate Senior Manager of Sales – Leisure responsible for driving leisure segment performance for the property while supporting regional sales initiatives. This role partners closely with the Director of Sales (DOS), providing mentorship and strategic guidance to ensure alignment with Hyatt’s commercial objectives. The position also works in close collaboration with Revenue Management to maximize total hotel revenue and plays a critical role in preparing and supporting ownership presentations.

The Role
The Corporate Senior Manager of Sales – Leisure will be responsible for developing and executing strategic leisure sales initiatives, strengthening key relationships, and ensuring alignment between property, regional, and corporate priorities. This leader will act as a trusted advisor to the on-property DOS, supporting their development and enhancing overall commercial effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Commercial Performance
Develop and execute strategic leisure sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
Identify and drive new business opportunities across leisure segments, including FIT, wholesale, consortia, and tour operators.
Analyze market trends, competitive data, and performance metrics to inform strategy and optimize results.
Ensure alignment of property-level strategies with regional and corporate commercial priorities.
Leadership & DOS Mentorship
Serve as a mentor and strategic partner to the on-property Director of Sales, ensuring alignment with Hyatt’s commercial strategies.
Provide coaching and guidance to strengthen leadership capability, decision-making, and execution.
Support the DOS in developing and delivering ownership presentations, ensuring clarity, confidence, and strategic alignment.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing sales culture.
Revenue Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Revenue Management to align pricing, inventory, and demand strategies to maximize total hotel revenue.
Collaborate with regional sales leaders to drive market share and overall performance.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and revenue teams to ensure cohesive execution.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key leisure accounts and industry partners.
Represent the property and Hyatt brand in trade shows, client events, and industry forums.
Champion the guest and client experience, ensuring long-term loyalty and satisfaction.
Performance Management & Reporting
Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for the leisure segment.
Prepare and review reports, insights, and presentations for internal stakeholders and ownership groups.
Monitor competitive landscape and market dynamics to proactively adjust strategies.
