Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Architect to design, govern, and optimize our enterprise data ecosystem. Our complex IT landscape spans multiple critical business applications and serves various business verticals. As an auditable enterprise, your primary focus will be ensuring top-tier data security, strict data correctness, high system uptime, and seamless cross-platform integration for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
Key Technical Landscape
Data Platform: Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering/Warehouse, Power BI)
Core Applications: NetSuite, Salesforce, SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA
Roles & Responsibilities
Multi-Format Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable end-to-end data architectures within Microsoft Fabric to ingest and process structured data from ERPs/CRMs, as well as unstructured data sources into Fabric’s OneLake.
Unstructured Data Processing: Architect solutions to store, catalog, and extract insights from unstructured data using Fabric's multi-engine capabilities (e.g., Synapse Data Science, Spark Notebooks, and AI integrations).
Enterprise Governance & Security: Define and enforce stringent data security frameworks (Row-Level Security, Object-Level Security, masking, and RBAC) across all data formats, ensuring compliance with enterprise audit standards.
Data Correctness & Quality: Implement automated data validation, reconciliation, and quality frameworks across multi-vertical data pipelines to guarantee absolute data accuracy.
Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless, real-time, or batch data flows into OneLake.
Performance & Uptime: Architect high-availability data solutions, optimize query performances, and proactively manage system uptime to support multi-vertical business operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Architecture, with at least 4–5 years of hands-on architectural experience specifically within Microsoft Fabric and the Azure Data stack.
Data Versatility: Proven experience in managing and architecting frameworks for both structured and unstructured data pipelines within a Lakehouse environment.
