Duties:
The Sr. Professional SAP Specialist supports Supply Chain and Operations through the following key pillars:
1. SAP Functional Support
- Support daily operations within SAP ECC WM and MM modules
- Analyze and resolve SAP-related issues impacting warehouse and supply chain processes
- Ensure system stability and proper usage aligned with business requirements
- Collaborate with global SAP teams for incident resolution and knowledge sharing
2. Business Process Improvement
- Analyze current processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Define and propose solutions aligned with operational needs
- Support implementation of enhancements, including testing and documentation
- Work closely with business stakeholders to align SAP functionality with operational requirements
3. Operational Support (Shopfloor & Integration)
- Support warehouse operations by ensuring proper execution of inbound, outbound, and inventory processes
- Coordinate and support resolution of issues impacting SAP-related equipment (RF devices, printers, scanners)
- Assist users with transactional processes based on proper controls and authorizations
- Ensure continuity of operations during critical production or warehouse periods
4. Project & Continuous Improvement Support
- Participate in local or global initiatives as required (testing, training, documentation)
- Support rollout readiness by preparing users and validating system functionality
- Develop and track operational KPIs to support performance monitoring and decision-making
- Provide training and continuous guidance to users, supervisors, and associates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of SAP ECC experience in WM and MM modules
- Strong understanding of warehouse and materials management processes
- Experience working with SAP integration points (PP, SD, QM) is a plus
- Experience in S/4HANA EWM is desirable but not required
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in operational environments
- Experience supporting end users and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot) is a plus
- Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Availability to support operations during critical periods as needed
Technical Skills:
- SAP ECC WM/MM core experience required
- Functional knowledge of SAP processes and integrations
- Configuration knowledge is a plus but not required
- No programming skills required
