Capacity Planning: Coaches others in understanding the relationship between capacity management and priority planning and the execution of planning strategies that meet the demands of a supplier or Eaton business; demonstrates the capacity to successfully negotiate strategies to support total business needs.
Intellectual Property Awareness: Exercises high competence in communicating and implementing licensure, disclosure and confidentiality agreements required to protect proprietary rights and information acquired or developed on behalf of Eaton.
Market & Customer Knowledge: Possesses expert knowledge on how to investigate and analyze national and global markets, and coaches others to fully understand the impact of purchasing and supplier management strategies; works through others to capture analysis of competitor data, and uses that information to positively differentiate Eaton in the marketplace.
Negotiation: Instructs others on how to successfully leverage the process necessary to skillfully negotiate in difficult situations with internal customers and external suppliers; trains his/her team in sound techniques used to settle differences in a forceful yet diplomatic fashion in order to reach an agreement upon the terms and conditions surrounding a commodity purchase transaction.
Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning: Drives the successful implementation of the planning process and ensures the team effectively balances demand with supply, optimize purchasing and production for accurate planning decisions, and initiate supply chain improvements.
Supply Chain Continuity Planning: Demonstrates and coaches personnel in risk management goals and manages the process that controls, monitors, and evaluates supply chain risks.
